Hye Ihn (Helen) Rhee

Ms. Rhee is a lawyer specializing in intellectual property law, including trademark preparation and prosecution, portfolio development, and strategic intellectual property counseling such as domestic and international enforcement of intellectual property rights.

While in law school, Ms. Rhee worked as summer law clerk for an intellectual property law firm in Washington D.C. and one of the largest law firms in South Korea on matters in the areas of M&A, corporate, contract, and intellectual property law, including trademark, copyright, and patent infringement litigation.

Ms. Rhee received a B.A., cum laude, in political science and history from Washington University in St. Louis and her J.D. from Boston College Law School, where she was the Notes Editor for the Law and Religion Program and participated in the Wendell F. Grimes Moot Court Competition and the ABA Negotiation Competition. Ms. Rhee was one of the finalists for the Boston College ABA Client Counseling Competition. She also worked in the Civil Litigation Clinic for the Boston College Legal Assistance Bureau in Waltham, MA, where she advised and represented clients in a variety of legal problems, including landlord-tenant disputes and social security disability appeals. She is admitted to practice law in California. Ms. Rhee is fluent in Korean and proficient in Spanish.
